John Taylor was born in the United States and raised in a middle class family. Served in the US Army with the 101st Airborne in Viet Nam and the 82nd Airborne at Ft. Bragg, North Carolina.

 

During childhood an insatiable desire to know what was Real started and it was not to end anytime soon. This desire had some distractions. The old story of Wine, Women and Song was definitely a distraction. Childhood was not happy and the US Army and Viet Nam didn't help.

 

After leaving the Military, the search for what was Real began again, but by this time a lot of that "Conditioning" was in place and the struggle was intense.

 

It took about 20 years of reading Philosophy and Religion before total confusion had set in. The conditioning had also born fruit and his life began to unravel. Something that could be described as a Rapid Downward Spiral.

 

Stumbling upon a book that dealt with the subject known as Self Realization caught his eye and he purchased it. After having developed an ability for deep thinking and big words, he couldn't understand what this book was talking about. This was the beginning of change and transformation.
